[shadow=red,left,300]Hellfire Citadel: Magtheridon’s Lair[/shadow]
Hellfire Citadel is the headquarters of the Fel Orcs of Outland, a nearly impenetrable bastion that once served as the base of operations for the orcs throughout the First and Second Wars. Kargath Bladefist and his Fel orcs now make their home in the citadel.
Magtheridon's Lair is a raid wing of the Hellfire Citadel dungeon in Hellfire Peninsula, Outland. You can find the entrance to Magtheridon's Lair on the very bottom of the western side of the Citadel (opposite side from the other 3 entrances). It is a quick raid encounter (like Onyxia's Lair, which contains four "guard mobs" before the boss encounter, Onyxia).
Attunement
You do not need a key to enter Magtheridon's Lair. It is possible to zone in provided you are level 65 and are in a raid group
[glow=red,2,300]Tactic[/glow]
The Encounter:
You start with 5 Channelers. The second you engage them, you have 2 min before Magtheridon becomes "active." Channelers:
Each have approximately 360k hit points. They hit for 1k - 2.5k on Plate. They do a Shadowbolt Volley that hits for ~3k (can be interrupted). Dark Mending: Uses dark magic to heal an ally for 69375 to 80625 health. Cast Time 2 seconds, 30 yards range. Channelers can be spread out or interrupted to stop healing. They summon Burning Abyssal that can feared and banish and tanked and also do 2625-3375 fire damage in 10 yards area. They will 1 hit anyone outside of a Pally or a Warrior. You have about ~6 infernals up at 1 time (they die after 1 min). After you kill 1 Channeler, the other 4 gain a buff (Soul Transfer) which increases their damage and casting speed by 30%, and size by 20%. Magtheridon:
After 2 Min, Magtheridon becomes active. He hits for 1k - 2.5k on a warrior, has a cleave that will one hit anyone outside of a warrior, and has 2 special abilities. The first is a knock-back (Quake) that will knock-back 66-84 yards per sec for 7 secs. Radius: 100 yards. He will do this about 10-20 seconds after he becomes active and quite often. The second is Blast Nova that hits for about 2188-2812 fire damage every 2 seconds, lasts for 10 seconds, range 200 yards. He will use this about 25-30 seconds after he becomes active, normally you will use Shadow Grasp to stun him during this period. The "Gimmick":
There are 5 boxes that each of the channelers are at. When Magtheridon becomes active, so do they. If 5 people click the box (and are able to channel it all at once) Magtheridon will be stunned (Shadow Grasp), and take 100% more damage. BUT, Control of the Box deals 800 damage a second. After breaking from a Box, you get Mind Exhaustion, which lasts for 3 minutes.

[shadow=red,left,300]Karazhan[/shadow]
Karazhan is an abandoned ancient tower, located in Deadwind Pass. It is a ten-man raid dungeon for players who have reached level 70. Karazhan is notable for its famous occupant, the last Guardian of Tirisfal, Medivh. You can use Medivh's staff, [Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian], to teleport players to the front gate of Karazhan.
History
Karazhan existed long before Medivh inhabited the tower. The builders are unknown. During the First War, the tower was inhabited by Medivh, his butler Moroes, his cook Cook and his then-apprentice Khadgar. Garona also resided here as an emissary in the same time of Khadgar's apprenticeship. Sargeras allowed Medivh to freely explore Karazhan. It is said that many strange and disturbing visions lurked within the tower, and Moroes was known for wearing blinders to avoid seeing them.
Attunement
1. Complete the quests Restless Activity and Arcane Disturbances given by Archmage Alturus outside Karazhan. 2. You must then visit Dalaran and talk to Archmage Cedric who will send you to Khadgar in Shattrath City. 3. Khadgar will give you a quest to retrieve the [First Key Fragment] from a Arcane Container in Shadow Labyrinth. It is located in the room of the last boss Murmur. 4. Next you need to retrieve two more key fragments from The Steamvault and The Arcatraz. The Steamvaults fragment is found just before the first boss in the water. The Arcatraz fragment is found in the corner of the blue room after the first boss. 5. Khadgar will now ask you to visit Medivh in The Black Morass and give him the key. You will need to complete the encounter before Medivh will talk to you. 6. Return to Khadgar in Shattrath and he will give you [The Master's Key].
Trivia
In the Opera House, you will meet Barnes <The Stage Manager> on stage, addressing his ghostly audience. Barnes will then announce the nights' presentation. One of three boss presentations will appear, each based off of famous stories or tales. "Tonight, things are not what they seem, for tonight, your eyes may not be trusted." -The Little Red Riding Hood - Starring the hungry Big Bad Wolf himself. -The Wizard of Oz - Starring Dorothee and her dog Tito, Tinhead, Strawman, the lion Roar, and the evil Crone that tries to stop them on their way home! -Romulo and Julianne - A tale of forbidden love...

[shadow=red,left,300]Tempest Keep: The Eye[/shadow]
Tempest Keep is a former Naaru fortress in the Netherstorm in Outland. This crystalline fortress is now ruled by Kael'thas Sunstrider, the lord of the blood elves, and dominated by scores of his brethren. The structure is divided into three wings - satellites of the gigantic structure - with the fourth wing, the Exodar, now in the world of Azeroth as the Draenei capital.
The Eye is the inner palace of Tempest Keep, and the lair of Kael'thas Sunstrider.

Once you have completed that section of the quest line you will receive an in-game mail from Khadgar in Shattrath City. 3.Accept the three quests Khadgar gives you, Trial of the Naaru: Mercy, Trial of the Naaru: Strength and Trial of the Naaru: Tenacity. 4. Complete Shattered Halls, Shadow Labyrinth, The Steamvault and The Arcatraz on heroic mode. 5. Return to Khadgar and accept Trial of the Naaru: Magtheridon. 6.
